Joyride E-bike Brand Design
Welcome to Joyride, redefining urban mobility and sustainable transportation. As cities around the globe grapple with the growing challenges of air pollution—where vehicles contribute to nearly 30% of greenhouse gas emissions—the need for sustainable transportation solutions has never been more urgent. Electric bikes, like those offered in this concept for Joyride, have emerged as a game-changer to help solve this problem. This e-bike concept provides an Eco-friendly alternative to gas-powered vehicles, cutting carbon footprints and easing traffic congestion while celebrating personal expression with its vibrant design.
My Approach:
A project born from my passion as an e-bike commuter. Joyride offers a more vibrant brand option to the e-bike space. The project aims to elevate Joyride beyond being just an e-bike brand—it’s an experience.
After extensive research into the electric bike industry, a brand mission and purpose were developed to steer the brand’s vision.
The logo embodies the brand’s mission and vision. Featuring a simplistic design, defined by its energetic upward rise and cheerful typography. A set of submarks were developed for versatility, creating a strong identity for various applications, including physical brand products, digital designs and advertising.
An e-bike product concept and VR experience were developed, enabling potential customers to virtually view the bike at full scale and providing an engaging marketing experience.
A sense of energy and excitement served as the cornerstone of the brand identity. From the advertising campaigns to the immersive storefront activation. Inviting every rider to feel the joy of fun and sustainable commuting.
Experiential Event Concept:
An engaging experiential marketing concept designed for users to fully immerse themselves in the Joyride brand experience. The event would feature a dynamic figure 8 race track for exhilarating time trials and bike testing. A pop-up bike shop for hands-on product exploration and bike tune ups. Brand products were showcased using a modular display and an installation made from recycled bike tires, enhancing brand recognition while highlighting Joyride’s commitment to sustainability. Along with local-community, food trucks for everyone to enjoy.
Event marketing would encourage attendees to ride to the event and share their experience on social media for a chance to win a Joyride e-bike and other prizes. This event showcases Joyride bikes and products while staying true to the brand mission: revolutionizing transportation with e-bikes that embrace sustainable living, encourage outdoor adventure, and promote individual expression. Creating a memorable, interactive experience that fosters community connection.
