Heartbeat

An interactive installation that transforms participants' heartbeats into a dynamic LED light display, celebrating the beauty of being alive and the power of individuality. This experience invites users to connect with their own uniqueness, inviting a moment to feel the singular rhythm of life.

Fabricated from 21 feet of wood and LED lights, this installation is modeled after my own EKG reading. A small-scale model was created before constructing the full-scale piece, which is designed to be collapsible and easily transported with a mobile frame for various pop-up events. The LED lights are controlled by a programmed app that translates a user's pulse into both a musical beat and light rhythm, creating a life-size EKG of their heartbeat.
